Brand Story

My love affair with fashion and headscarves began in the late '90s while living in Mykonos, Greece. It was a time of discovery, freedom, and pushing the boundaries of my comfort zone. I felt alive, curious, and constantly inspired by the effortless style of the Europeans around me—their innate flair for fashion sparked something in me that still burns today. Mykonos opened my eyes to a world where self-expression had no limits, and for the first time, I truly felt like I could do anything.

That passion followed me as I moved from Greece to New York City, and eventually Bali, all in pursuit of my fashion dreams. It was during my time in Bali that a dear friend gifted me a vintage Lanvin scarf—a piece that would become a symbol of inspiration for La Tête. That scarf arrived just as I was about to lose my hair during my breast cancer journey, and its beauty and thoughtfulness left a deep mark on me. It became more than just an accessory; it was a reminder of strength, connection, and the enduring power of style.

For me, La Tête embodies everything I hold close—beauty, freedom, and the courage to dream. It's a reflection of how I live my life: with curiosity, boldness, and an unwavering belief that joy is always within reach. Collaboration specifics

How does the Product Development and Design Collaroation work?

La Tête partners with talented artists to create exclusive, luxury silk headscarves.

Each design is produced in limited runs: starting with 50 units and scaling to 100 units before selling out.

The retail price for each scarf is approximately $200.

How are the artists compensated?

Artists receive 20% of the total revenue generated from the sale of 100 units.

For 100 units at $200 each, total potential revenue is $20,000.

The artist’s share is $4,000.

Is there an upfront payment for artists?

Yes, artists receive an upfront payment of $1,000. Which is 25% of their total commission based on the 100 units sold.

Subsequent payments depend on the success of sales.

How does the Tiered Earn-Out Model work?

The goal is to sell out each limited edition scarf within 6 weeks of launch.

Artists will receive the remainder of their commission at the end of the 6-week period, based on actual sales.

If any units remain unsold, those units may be withheld to maintain the limited edition status, and no further payments will be made on unsold units.

What content will artists be involved in creating?

Artists participate in an interview and photoshoot to capture the essence of their creative process and collaboration with La Tête.

The artist provides a short face-to-camera introduction, sharing their inspiration for the collaboration.

Behind-the-scenes content, including photos and videos of the design process, is also captured and shared.

What is the budget for content creation?

La Tête will provide up to USD 500 in advance to cover photographer or videographer costs if the artist is unable to produce these materials independently. This amount will then be deducted from the artist’s initial commission payment.

How is the artist’s content used in marketing and promotion?

La Tête uses artist-created content, such as videos, photos, and interviews, across all marketing channels, including the website, social media, and email campaigns.

The limited edition nature of each design is highlighted to create urgency and exclusivity.

Emphasis is placed on the collaborative and community-driven aspect of La Tête to resonate with our target audience.
